I have a passion for science and science fiction. My fascination with science began at age seven by NASA's 1962 Project Mercury and with sci-fi by the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. Since then, I have been an avid sci-fi fan. Today I also enjoy robot competitions. I grew up in the 60s with shows like Star Trek, Lost in Space, and Time Tunnel. My favorite movie is Close Encounters. I prefer sci-fi that involves family and friends, rather than gore and excessive violence. My books are appropriate for all ages. I was also the guy who told bedtime stories and Halloween tales through a flashlight beam. When not writing, I can be found building robots and helping kids improve their writing skills.
Art and science rarely blend so seamlessly as in the works of Dr. Angelika Domschke. Born in Germany, raised amongst the cultural diversity and freethinking affluence of Hamburg, and schooled as a chemist, Angelika distills essential beauty from her fantastic illustrations with uncompromising German precision. Noted for “bringing her works to life”, Angelika combines her vivid and sometimes whimsical imagination with her talent for classical realism to breathe life into the subjects of her drawings.
